Otobanda yüksek limitlerde giderken aracın teklediğini hissettim ama hafifti. Benzine alınca aniden düzeliyordu. Lpg bitiyor ondan olabilir diye düşündüm ve doldurdum. Ancak araç sarsıntıyı artırdı ve hızı düşürdüm hararet biraz daha düzelince düşük hızda ilerledim sorun yaşanmadı.

Mitsubishi Lancer Thermostat Replacement

Problems I’ve been having;

• Coolant temperature drops
• Shaking, misfiring, and knocking at high speeds on LPG
• Increased fuel consumption on LPG
• Unstable running in the car

I always set my car’s gauge to show the coolant temperature and generally follow it. I noticed that the coolant temperature was dropping on the gauge in long downhill slopes at the beginning of summer. I thought I would change the thermostat in the winter as it was only short-term on very steep and long roads as we approached the summer months.

While driving at high speeds on the highway, I felt the car misfire but it was light. I thought the LPG might be running out, so I filled it up. However, the car increased the shaking and I reduced the speed, the coolant temperature improved a little, and I continued at low speed without any problems.

Afterwards, I bought an aftermarket thermostat and replaced it. As a result of my research, everyone said that the problem would continue outside of the original. Because I wanted to solve it quickly and immediately, I bought the aftermarket thermostat that I could get directly and replaced it myself.

Everything was fine for about 2 weeks, but after 2 weeks, the coolant temperature was almost always low. The LPG was delayed and the car was choking. The reason was that the LPG regulator was not hot enough and the gas form was deteriorating.

I bought the original from the service and replaced it, and now the car is in its full form.
